Mata Ortiz Pottery

These seven unique pots are made with southwest type design with geometric pattern. Each are different. These collection is completely hand made and hand painted in traditional design from Mata Ortiz, a modern town located in the Mexican State of Chihuahua, west of El Paso, Texas. Each one is handcrafted and fired, signed by the artist (little faint due to polish). All designs follow the traditional Southwest type, with red and black on bisque base of round low height pots.
