Colorful Wood and Beaded Wall Mask from Ghana, Africa

The artisan names the mask Samba, meaning “messenger” in the language of the Zarma people from Niger. Recycled glass beads in a variety of colors adorn the surface of this eco-friendly African mask, hand-carved from local Sese wood,  featuring an original design by Ghanaian artisan Awudu Saaed, the mask also features hand-painted motifs for a complex look.  The mask is intended for wall decor (hanging loop at back), made in Ghana, Africa.  As hand-crafted item — color, size and/or motif may vary slightly. Promotes recycling and reduces waste.
